Campbell were honorod at a reception Friday evening at the LDS Institute of Religion in Cedar City. The bride, the former Miss Gloria Jean Dotscn, is a daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry P. Dotson of Cedar City. Mr and Mrs. Henry A. Campbell, Spanish Fork, are parents of the bridegroom. bride-groom. For her wedding and reception the bride wore a floor-length gown of tulle and clipped chan-tilly chan-tilly lace. Long tappered sleeves and a sabrina neckline, trimmed with sequins, enhanced the lace bodice. A crown of seed pearls held her fingertip veil of illusion. She carried a bouquet of pink rose buds encircling a white orchid. Attending the bride were Mrs. Sheldon Sargent, a sister, matron of honor; Miss Elizabeth Allen, Misa Mary Oveson, Miss Judy Wilson and Miss Christine Dot-son Dot-son were junior bridesmaids. Tiny Ti-ny Marainne Beck and Shelly Wilson, neices of the bride, were flower girls. They wore identical gowns of pink embossed cotton, and carried colonial bouquets of pink carnations and roses. The flower girls carried white baskets filled with pink carnations, with pink ribbon streamers. They all wore head bands of pink feathered carnations. The bride's niotht-r chose a dress of rose colored nylon and lace and wore a corsage of white roses and carnations. The mother of the bridegroom wore a dress of pale green chiffon and wore a corsage of pink roses and carnations. carna-tions. Gary Campbell was best man for his brother. Ushers were Sheldon Sarfeent. Earl Beck, Lars Yorgeson, Gary Quinney and Clint Campbell. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Dotson acted as hosts for the newlyweds. Centering a lace covered table was a 'weiy pink and white ar-raneemert ar-raneemert of carnations. Pour ing from crystal punch bowls at either end of the table were Mrs. Glen Froyd, Mrs. Harry B. Leigh, Mrs. Kathryn Wilson and Mrs Ned Sargent. A four-tiered wedding cake was beautifully decorated in white and pink to match the color co-lor A'tieme of the occasion. Serving were Miss Betsy Lunt. Miss Margaret Froyd, Mrs. Marilyn Mari-lyn Huntsman and Miss Kay Ashcroft . Throughout the evening, piano music was furnished by Mrs. Audrey Au-drey Beck, a sister of the bride. Vocal solos were rendered by Miss Geri Jones. The bridal couple exchanged wedding vows Friday evening at the LDS Institute of Religion with president E. A. Whatcott officiating. The wedding march was played by Mrs. Beck. Saturday morning, the mar-rlage mar-rlage was solemnized In the St. George LDS Temple by Presi- aeni iiaroia a. anow, The newlyweds will make a home in Salt Lake City where Mr. Campbell has accepted a position as music Instructor at the Salt Lake City schools. The bride Is a graduate of College Col-lege of Southern Utah where she was a member of Thl Alpha Beta sorority. She Is a graduate of Brigham Young University. While at BYU, she was a member of Van Norm social unit. The bridegroom also graduated from BYU where he was active In music circles. Out-of-town guests who came to attend the wedding and reception re-ception were Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Shel-don Sargent, Provo; Mrs. Kathryn Kath-ryn Wilson and children of Tooele; Tooe-le; Bishop and Mrs. Earl Beck and family from Alberquerque, N. M. and Bill Johnson. Geri Jones. Sharon Dall, Ellen Robins, Gayla Brlenholt and Lars Yor-geson, Yor-geson, all of Salt Lake City. |
