Show I KANARRAVILLE NEWS by Hannah tmizj Pioneer Day was started off here on Saturday evening with a dance sponsored by the M. I. A. at Cobble Crest. Monday morning morn-ing there was salute at Da Break, serenading by the string band, breakfast was sold at the barbeque pit, a parade at 10 o'clock followed by a meeting. Alton Ford was master of ceremonies. cere-monies. Mrs. Rosella Christen-sen Christen-sen was Queen of '47, with Pamela Pa-mela Christensen and Barbara Knee as maids. Mary Hannah Davis was queen of '61, with Angie Encc- and Leslie Cornelius i as her maids. There was a food sale at noon, sports in the afternoon after-noon and dance in the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Perkins of Cedar City visited Sunday evening even-ing with her Aunt. Hannah Davis and also with Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Reeves. Mrs. Barbara Williams and children are home for a few days from Las Vegas. Visitors at the Virgil Davis home for Pioneer Day wre Mr. and Mrs. Robert Simkins and family and Lenice Davis of Murray. Mur-ray. Mrs. Mabel Williams is visiting in Canada with c-rr.e c! !-.:. relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Ora Heaps and sons Lee and Lyle of Salt Lake I City spent the week end here with Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Davis. Da-vis. They enjoyed a day fishing at Kolob. Some of our ward members attended the funeral of Mrs. Kli-za Kli-za DeMille at Hurricane last week. She is the mother of (Ilcndon DeMille and Darlene Olds of our ward. He extended I I our sympathy to all members of her family in the loss of their mother. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Williams, 'day afternoon in Summit with I the Rodger Fife family Deborah and Jeffery, Hanna'.i Davis and Shelley visited Sun-Mr. Sun-Mr. and Mrs. Varsell Cowley of Venice.
