Show CEDAR CITY SOCIAL SWING Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Snow and children Richard and Annette have been guests of Mrs. Snow's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Palmer. Saturday, the two families fami-lies spent the day touring Zion National Park. The Snows have now returned to their home in Huntington, Utah. They had previously pre-viously been in California where Mr. Snow attended summer school. Brad and JoAnn Carry of Compton, California, and Niel Hirschi of Las Vegas, have bon guests this past week at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Cluff Joi ley, Mr. and Mrs. Milt Jolley, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hunter and Mrs. Grace Hirschi. On the week end, Mrs. Gam Hirschi of Las Vegas arrived here to accompany them to Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Kendall Nelson and family are spending the week in Carbon County with relatives re-latives and in Salt Lake City where they will enjoy a brief vacation. va-cation. Mrs. Hattie Lou Meyers and sons of Las Vegas were week end guests of Mrs. Meyers' uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. E. Nelson Webster. ROUND TABLE CLUB The latest pre-noon social for members of the summer Round Table Club was held at the home of Mable Dalley. For the occassion, club member Nellie Painter, had her daughter, Jerri Cripps, present a lesson from the book 'Winston Churchill." The book delt witm Churchill's historical his-torical influence and biography. Thirteen members were in attendance at-tendance along with lesson euest and Mrs. Anges Turner. Mrs. Agnes Turner, Mrs. Jerri Cripps and Mrs. Nellie Painter represented three family generations gener-ations on hand at the club social. so-cial. Bridge club members met last Wednesday night at the home of Nona Cheever for their usual card sess.'on. Eight ladies were ; in attendance and four of them I won prizes for individual scoring j acheivements. I |
