Eight Teams Entered, Odar City Softball Association will statfe their annual Invitational Invita-tional Tournament here next week and eight teams will par- j ticipate in the event which runs Monday through Saturday night. Four Cedar City teams Willi participate and four teams from j throughout the area have been invited to vie for the championship champion-ship of the annual event. From Cedar City league teams in the tournament include Ron's Sporting Gods, Southern Utah Office Of-fice Machines, National Guard and Lunt Motor Co. Outside teams in the tournament will be J. and J. Mill and Lumber of St. George, the "Y" Service at Pana-ca, Pana-ca, Nev. and two teams from Enterprise designated as Enterprise Enter-prise 1st and 2nd. The accompanying chart indicates indi-cates the schedule of play. Two games will be played each ev-1 enlng Monday through Thursday Thurs-day with three games to be played play-ed Saturday. No games will be played Friday evening. Games Monday through Thursday will be played at 7:30 and J p. m. Saturday's schedule will have action ac-tion at 0:00, 7:30 and !:X in the evening. Schedule will bo as follows: Monday: (lames 1 anil 2. Tuesday: Games 3 and 1. Wednesday: Games: 5 and 6. Thursday: Games 7 and 8. Saturday: Games 9, 10 and 11. The public is cordially invited to attend the tournament games and watch the action in the annual an-nual Invitation event. |
