Show Resident Summoned At Death of Father Mrs. Elmer Barrick of Cedar City was called to Hurricane last week when her father, George Washington Isom, 69, passed .away at his home of a heart till-ment till-ment A native of Washington County, Coun-ty, Mr. Isom was born at Vergin, a son of William and Mary A. Gibson Isom. He married Blanche jAngell Feb. 18, in St. George and resided at Hurricane for 41 years. Survivors include his widrw, Mrs. Barrick; sons, Jack, Tiurri- cane; Silney B., Los Angeles, I Calif.; Gailan and Thurman C Las Vegas, Nev.; Ted U., Sioux 'City, Nev.; Mrs. R. C. Hoon, Lin-coln, Lin-coln, Nev.; Mavis Isom, Olive View, Calif, and 11 grandchildren grandchil-dren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held In Hurricane and burial was in the Hurricane cemetery. WEEK END VISITORS Here to spend Christmas week end with Mrs. Gurli Lundgren were her son-in-law and daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and Mrs. William Rose, granddaughters Virginia and Brenda of Yucalpa, Calif. Alice Parkinson of Los Angeles accompanied accom-panied the Roses to spend the week end with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. F. B. Parkinson. |
