Show Native of Cedar City, 81, Succumbs Sunday Mjs. Naomi Mackelprang Perry, Per-ry, 81, native of Cedar City, died Sunday of causes incident to age. Mrs. Perry, who had spent her lire here, had been an active church worker particularly in the Primary and Relief Society organizations, having served in the presidency of both. She was born in Cedar City on July 10, 1879, a daughter of Chris-tlan Chris-tlan Eric and Lenora Naomi Bailey Mackelprang. On Nov. 21, 1900 she married John H. Parry, musician, in the St. George LDS Temple. She is survived by two sons. Leland Perry, Los Angeles, president presi-dent of the West Spanish Mission Mis-sion of the LDS Church, and John Theodore, Cedar City. Also surviving sur-viving are five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and a brother, bro-ther, Joseph Mackelprang, Cedar City. Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed in the First-Fifth LDS Ward chapel Wednesday afternoon. Burial was in the Cedar City cemetery. |
