Show I KAMRRAVILE NEWS NOTES Mrs. Carina Williams A wedding reception was held February 8 in the church for Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Nelson. A very large crowd was there and enjoyed en-joyed a good program and the bride and groom received many beautiful gifts. Mrs. Hannah Davis received word of the birth of her first great-grandchild. A son was born February 6 in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City to Mr. and Mrs. Larry Peterson. Mrs. Peterson is the former Donna Gayle Fife, the daughter of Rudger Fife and the late Elda Davis Fife of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Reeves and girls spent the week end here from Las Vegas with their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Reeves. Mrs. Christee Cornelius is spending this week in Las Vegas observing the Nevada chools. Mrs. Janice Robinson and daughters spent Saturday and Sunday here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Williams and visiting other relatives. Mrs. Kent Davis of Salt Lake City is here to spend a week recuperating from an appendic-tomy. appendic-tomy. Mrs. Belle Higbee of Rcdondo Beach, Calif., visited a short time at the home of Preston Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Noel Williams attended at-tended a testimonial in Cedar Sunday for their grandson, Roger Rog-er Williams, who is leaving soon for a mission for the LDS Church. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Isom and family of Las Vegas have moved their trailer houses here. They are employed by Stout Construction Construc-tion and work began this morn-I morn-I ing installing the pipe line for I the new road to be built in the I near future. I Mr. and Mrs. Verl Beekstead ', and daughter, Verlyn, and Donald Don-ald Williams traveled to Mes-quite, Mes-quite, Nev., Sunday. Mr. Bob Cornelius and Chesley Williams were home over the weekend they are attending College Col-lege at CSU. Their friend, Bill Atkins of Provo spent Sunday night with Chesley. Mrs. Nedra Ence and children enjoyed a trip to Glen Canyon Dam and Page. Ariz., with Rao-na Rao-na Ence and Phil Sevy. Elmer Davies spent Saturday in Milford with his nephew Ronald Williams who had business busi-ness there for the College of Southern Utah Farm. Mr and Mrs. Junius Williams enjoyed a visit from their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Williams and daughter, DeAnn, of Salt Lake City. While here they all traveled to Las Vegas to visit the Kelsey Taylors and Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Williams and girls. Mrs. Sylvia Williams spent Saturday visiting with her daughter-in-law and grandson, Joan and Brad Williams of Cedar City. Miss Cheryl Williams, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Williams, Wil-liams, was home for a few days from her beauty school In Las Vegas. Miss Hanna Davis spent Thursday Thurs-day In Parowan visiting Garner Decker and son. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Woodbury of Las Vegas visited a few days with Clair's mother, Arvilla Woodbury, and other relatives and friends. Mrs. Zina Presbrey of Washington, Wash-ington, Utah, visited Sunday with her son-in-law and daughter, Willard and Lillie Williams. Mrs. Colleen Williams and children of Las Vegas spent the week end with their father-in-law Preston Williams. Mrs. Lizzie Davis and Calda Adams and son, Troy, visited about town with their many relatives re-latives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Lavor Stapley of Cedar City were Sunday visitors at the Willard Williams home. Mrs. Hazel Davies spent a few days in St. George with her mother, Rosena Blake. Spending the weekend with their grandmother, Mabel Williams Wil-liams was Emily Lister of Parowan; Paro-wan; Jimmie Bryan, Donald and Patsy Livermore of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. George Munford enjoyed a visit from their sister, Lois McConnell of Cedar City. Visiting at the home of Hannah Han-nah Davis and other relatives were Dick Fife of Cedar City and his friend, Jim Clark, of Las Vegas, Ve-gas, Nev. Mrs. Jimmie Williams attended attend-ed a meeting in Cedar City Monday Mon-day night for the Intermountain Farmer's Association for all board and auxiliary members.
