Show Richfield Students Tour College Campus Some 100 senior students and leaders from Richfield Hifc,! School visited College of Southern South-ern Utah Friday as a field trip climaxing vocational wek activities acti-vities at their school. The group toured the CSU campus, witnessing wit-nessing classroom activity and displays. They attended assemblies assemb-lies at the beginning and climax cli-max of the visit to hear information infor-mation on the College and view entertainment offerings from the drama, dance and music departments. depart-ments. The students were addressed by Dr. Royden C. Braithwaite, CSU director, and Dean of Students Stu-dents J. W. Tingey who spoke to them at a special luncheon on responsibilities and procedures relative to college entrance. CSU student body officers acted act-ed as hosts and guides for the group which was under the supervision sup-ervision of Dean J. Isbell, Richfield Rich-field High School counselor. Students from other high schools in the area have been invited in-vited to attend the collegp presentation pre-sentation of Shakespeare's 'The Tempest" being produced Wednesday Wed-nesday through Saturday in the CSU auditorium. |
