Show Knife and Fork Club To Hear Lecture On South America ' " HELEN CUDWORTH A discussion on present trends, transitions, and what is happening happen-ing in Central and South America Ameri-ca will be given to members of the Escalante Knife and Fork Club by Helen Cudworth, a radio ra-dio commentator from Fort Morgan, Mor-gan, Colo., who toured South America exhaustively again last spring. The club will hold Its meeting Wednesday, Feb. 19, at the College of Southern Utah Student Center. All of Miss Cudworth's trips included stops at the Important capitals of South America and Interviews with key personnel. Extra time was spent in the cities cit-ies of Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, ,Rlo de Janeiro, Lima, and Cara-cus Cara-cus where special research trips were made by Miss Cudworth to determine the pulse of the public. "The American public could very easily have gotten the wrong impression of the feelings of South American citizens," explains ex-plains Miss Cudworth, "because of the reports in our daily papers pap-ers when Important people made excursions to our South American neighbors. The truth is, the South American generally feels kindly and very friendly to us, although readily admitting they could do with a little kindlier atltude on our part as far aa trade and their economy is concerned." con-cerned."
