New BYU Laboratory School Director To Visit Iron County Edwin A. Read, director of Brlgham Young University Laboratory Lab-oratory School, has requested and been granted permission to visit the Iron County schools. Mr. Read Is the new director of the laboratory school at B Y U and is engaged in actlviv closely related to teacher training. In his letter to Supt Ianthus Wright, Director Read stated that he was very anxious to becorre acquainted with Utah education, its schools and teachers. Duri.v; the raat month he has visited a number of schools in the northern north-ern part of the state and at this time Is turning his attention to visiting schools in the southern part of Utah. Mr. Read also stated that Dr. Asel Woodruff, dean of the College Col-lege of Education at BYU, had highly recommended the Iron County School system for visitation. visita-tion. Mr. Read will visit classrooms class-rooms to become acquainted with curriculum, school organization organiza-tion and class room Instruction.
