Show THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PARENT TO THE CHILD AND TO THE SCHOOL The first six years of a child's life are considered to be the most formative. This thought always al-ways frightens me. These six years are gone so quickly! As a parent how well have I performed perform-ed my responsibility?. By the time I send a child to school have I done what I could and should? The school will certainly cer-tainly be able to do It's Job better bet-ter if I send to them a happy and well adjusted child one who has a good relationship with other members of his family fam-ily both parents and brothers and sisters. After I send my child to school, it Is my responsibility to be Interested In-terested In what the school Is trying to do for him. I need to become familiar with the school of 1960 with at least as much enthusiasm as I become familiar with the latest appliance of 1960. It Isn't the same school I went to. I am happy It Isn't. The school that was good enough for me Is not good enough for my child. Educators have discovered much about your chili and mine: How thev develop phvsically. Intellectually, In-tellectually, emotionally and socially. so-cially. It Is Important tht we establish close working relationships relation-ships with them for the progress of our child. It is only through working together that we can provide the highest Quality of education for our children. Our children were in seven different dif-ferent schools In three different states before coming to Cedar City. The schooU In Cedar City are the best schools they have attended. The teachers and administrators ad-ministrators are doln? a very Intelligent, In-telligent, conscientious, and commendable Job. I am grateful to all of them for all they have done for our children. .
