Show Junior High School Presents Christmas Program The Cedar City junior high school, in cooperation with the Parent-Teachers Association, will present a Christmas program at the First Ward chapel at 7:30 p. m. Friday, Dec. 18, An invitation invita-tion is extended to everyone to pttend. The program will Include musical mu-sical numbers by the junior high orchestra, chorus and students of the school, to be followed by the presentation of a Nativity play, "The Perfect Gift," by students stu-dents from the school. Numbers to be presented by the chorus will be "Joy to the j World," "Beautiful Savior," and I "Oh, Holy Night," with LaRee I Urie and Ruth Marie Bauer as soloists. Orchestra numbers will include "Good King Wincelas," "Hark, the Herald Angels Sing," and "O, Little Town of Bethlehem." Bethle-hem." A quartet composed of Kenneth Ken-neth McKnight, Lamar Madsen, Neil Petty and Duard Evans will sing "Oh Come All Ye Faithful," Kenneth McKnight will sing "Christmas Candles," Bonnie Williams Wil-liams will sing "Silent Night," (Continued on Page Two) JUNIOR HIGH (Continued from Page One) I and John Muir will give "Joys of Christmas." Cast of the nativity play will include Dick Fife as David, Shar-i Shar-i on Harris, Ruth; Kenneth Jones, Inkeeper; Shirley Mclntyre, Lady; , Barbara Jean Bauer, the little girl; Gardner Dalley, scholar; Robert Clark, merchant; David Ridley, Fred Gillies, Phillip Stew-. Stew-. ard, and Engene Butcher, will perform as shepherds; Franklin Slack, Warren Rigby and David Morrill as the wisemen. The tab-, tab-, leaux scene will be by LaRue Bladen and Michael Frame. A welcome will be given by Mrs. Lewis Harding of the P-TA organization, opening prayer will be by Raymond Bauer and Benediction Ben-ediction by Kay Ashcroft. |
