Show Utah Receiv es Record Federal Fund Total For Wildlife Program Utah will receive $128,038.33 - the largest apportionment in history as its share of the Pittman-Robertson federal aid to wildlife funds for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1943, the State Fish and Game Depart-mnt Depart-mnt announced today. The appropriation was not approved until July 25. Randal L Turpin, Federal Aid Coordinator for the State Fish and Game Department, explained that the record Utah appropriation meant that the state must have a total of $170,744.44 obligated by June 30, 1948, Federal law provides that states must match each seventy five cents of government money with twenty five cents of their own. "We Intend to have every dollar obligated by June 30, 1948, In order to avoid having any of the Utah appropriation revert back to the government," Mr. Turpin said.
