Show Increasing Interest Evident In Local Livestock Show With requests for entry blanks being received every day from all parts of Southern Utah. It Is expected expect-ed that the Seventh Annual South-en South-en Utah Livestock Show will surpass sur-pass even the record set at last year's show. Committee workers who have been in contact with producers and 4-H Club and Future Farmer Chapter members who plan to exhibit ex-hibit at the show, report that the quality will probably surpass all previous pre-vious exhibits as well as the quantity. quant-ity. The Show will be held on the Branch Agricultural college campus on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, September 11, 12 and 13th, a!nd all committees are now at work completing final detailed arrangements arrange-ments for the big event, according to Dr. John Beal, general chair-man. As usual the Judging will be done on the opening day of the show, with the Smith-Hughes and 4-H Club Judging contests scheduled for the forenoon of the second day. The auction sale of breeding stock will be held on the afternoon of the second day, with the entire final day devoted to the sale of market animals. Prices offered for the fat lambs, beef and swine at the show have consistently topped those paid at any show In the west and this year will probably be no exception. ex-ception.
