Show AN APPEAL Cedar City has the opportunity to hear an excellent symphonic sym-phonic concert by young artists from Southern California on Saturday, March 29, if we will open our homes to these young people and their six chaperons. They are enroute to Salt Lake City where they have been invited to play at the Mormon Tabernacle during the California-Western Music Education Ed-ucation Biennial Conference. Mar. 29 to April 2. Because of our strategic location on Highway 91, and because we have an auditorium stage that will accommodate the 100 players, we have been offered the opportunity, of asking for a concert during the first stop of the group. Salt Lake parents are going to take tbe young people into.their homes during their four-day stay there. We have been asked to do the same for one night only. They are high school students from 29 Southern California High schools who have been practicing many hours all winter to make this Utah appearance. They will need a bed, their evening meal, and breakfast before 9 a. m. the next morning. The date is Saturday, March 29. It is hoped that parents will respond to this appeal to be good neighbors to a sister state. Arrangements for the concert con-cert have been placed in the hands of the Cedar City high school and the Music Arts Committee. They need your help. Please call the high school. Telephone 197, and leave your name at the office if you are willing to take one or two students. Parents who accept this responsibility will be displaying the true hospitality cf the pioneers whose centennial we are celebrating this year. Complimentary tickets will be issued to those who offer their homes. Music Arts Season Tickets will be accepted. Sincerely, Cedar City High School, Music Arts Committee.
