Show Rotary District Governor Visits in Cedar The Rev. Leslie E. Rolls, Rotary Ro-tary governor, district 165, was the principal speaker at the regular reg-ular Tuesday noon luncheon of the Cedar City organization in the El Escalante hotel ballroom. Rev. Rolls' message was dir ected toward the Rotarlans concerning con-cerning their service to their fellow-man. He said that in living, liv-ing, they were obligated to help others. Following the luncheon meet-ing, meet-ing, Rev. Rolls met with the of-fleers of-fleers and committee chairmen, at which time reports on activities, activ-ities, finances and condition of the club were given. Eligible recipients of the Rotary Ro-tary International scholarships are still being sought, said Rev. Rolls. He encouraged the search for students who could be con- ')mrmi sldered for the awards. It was also stated that the Spanish class at the high school would receive the issues of the Rotary magazine, which are printed in Spanish. Mrs. Rolls was entertained by the Rotary wives at another luncheon during the noon hour. In the evening, representatives of the local organization took the guests to Cedar Breaks for dinner and to see the colorful countryside. |
