Show Appointments Announced For BAC Staff Three new appointments to the Branch Agricultural College faculty fac-ulty were announced this week by Dr. H. Wayne Driggs, director of the school. In the physical education department, de-partment, Ann Lamb, who comes here from Hyde Park, will replace re-place Blanche Chamberlain, who has been transferred to the physical phys-ical education staff at the USAC as an Instructor. Miss Lamb graduated from the USAC this year with a Bachelor Bach-elor of Science degree. She has had two years experience as summer playground director in the Cache Valley region. She comes here with a high recom-j mendatlon from the jtfate college col-lege in connection with dance Instruction. She is also very able in intramural sports and games. In another change, Max E. Robinson has been appointed as assistant professor of range management to replace Prof. Wallace Hanson, who has returned re-turned to Canada. Prof. Robinson Robin-son comes here with a Bachelor of Science degree from the state college and a master's degree from Oregon State college. He has also served on the faculty fac-ulty of both the University of Arizona and Oregon State College. Col-lege. He will live In Cedar City with his wife and two children. A part time appointment was also made at the BAC for this fall. Mary McMillan, Iron County Coun-ty school primary supervisor, has been appointed as a part time instructor in elementary education educa-tion and the supervisor of teacher teach-er training. She will work under the direction dir-ection of Dr. Reese P. Maughan, chairman of the division of education. edu-cation. She will serve to guide fourth yea' students in education, educa-tion, and will work on the teaching teach-ing of reading in the elementary schools. Through the cooperation of Ianthus Wright, superintendent of Iron County schools, all elementary ele-mentary school teachers will be available for this elementary teacher training program. |
