Show Political Scientists Address Rotarians Tuesday noon, six political scientists from the University of Utah were guests at the regular weekly Rotary luncheon in the ballroom of the Escalante hotel. The educators, who appeared here in Cedar City the previous evening, gave talks dealing with governmental problems. The UN-KSCO UN-KSCO approach on the general subject. "Approaches to One World" was discussed. The relationship rela-tionship of Russia and the United Unit-ed States and the possibility ol war between the two was also discussed. The educators were of the opinion that Russia and the United States would have to iron out their differences to avert another an-other major war. Men taking part in the discussions discus-sions were Dr. G. Homer Durham, head of the institute of government; govern-ment; Dr. O. Meridith Wilson, dean of the university college; Dr. O. Charles Lerche, Jr., assistant assist-ant professor of political science; Dr. Frank A. Jonas, associate professor pro-fessor of political science; Dr. S. Grover Rich, Jr., instructor in political science; and Col. E. E. Weaver, lecturer in political science. |
