Show flgedParowan Resident Dies Enoch Rasmussen, "8, retired Parowan farmer, died last week from ailments incident to old age. Funeral services for him were held last Wednesday in the Parowan Paro-wan West ward chapel. Church, of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Born in Tarowan, April 30, 1871, a son of Christian and Metta Mortensen Rasmussen, he lived there most of his life. He freight-ed freight-ed between southern Utah and Nevada towns during his early life. He was a cornet player in the first Parowan band and was well known as caller for square dances. Mr. Rasmussen was married to Rose Lucetta Orton, March 17, 1897. She died seven months ago. He is survived by eight sons and daughters. Colorado; Anna and George Rasmussen, Tarowan; 21 grandchildren, and 1G great-children. |
