Show PAROMVAN ROMltiKY SISrECT HELD Extradition proceedings are under un-der way to return Larry lUsmusscn to Parowan where he will fuce charges for the theft of $173 from the Brown Derby Coffee shop in Parowan last week. Rasmussen, reportedly absent without leave from the United States Army, was picked up In Bar-stow, Bar-stow, Cnl., where he made a complete com-plete confession of the crime. Par- owan officers were Informed. A former resident of Parowan, Rasmussen had been visiting In the city prior to the robbery and tils subsequent departure. Word has been received from So. Carolina of the birth of a son to Lieutenant and Mrs. Lynn J. Lunt both former local residents. Lynn la a graduate of the B. A. C. and U. S. A. C. where he was an outstanding out-standing football and basketball player. He now stationed at the airfield In Orecnvllle South Carolina. Caro-lina. Mrs. Lunt Is the former Miss Maxlne Slack of Toquervllle, who was an employee of the Southern Utah Broadcasting Company In Cedar Ce-dar City before her marriage. |
