Show Cedar City High School News Monday the Senior Class helc their annual "Sluff Day". Plan were made to go to Zlon, but for awhile it looked as If the weathei might spoil them. However the weather cleared up just long enough for a good trip and a nice time; then winter set in again. Pratt Bethers has made plans for a show that will take the place of a year book, since they are out for the dutlon of the war. the war. So as a reminder of what has taken place during the past year, Mr. Bethers has prepared a slide picture show which he will I present either the last of this week or the first of next. This will present pres-ent enjoyable entertainment for the student body. The High School Band presented a second concert and radio broadcast broad-cast Wednesday evening featuring a variety of selections from operatic overtures to modern boogie-woogie. The band concerts represent hours of hard work and they result In eve. nlngs of fine entertainment. The school play was ixxstponed from Monday until Thursday. However, How-ever, on Thursday things will go a-head a-head as scheduled, and offer a fine evening of hilarious entertahimnt to all those in attendance. All the ratrons of the school are Invited to attend. Open House Friday was a big success suc-cess with a capacity crowd attending. attend-ing. The girls of the Home Economics Eco-nomics department modeled over seventy-five dresses which represented repre-sented all varieties of clothing from formats to sportswear. The science-department science-department presented three demon, stratlons, the orchestra played several sev-eral numbers, and the physical education edu-cation department presented a group of exercises. The Girls' Organization will present pre-sent their Senior Breakfast Sunday at 8 A. M. A program will te presented pre-sented In connection with the breakfast break-fast and a special favor will be given each of the girls. |
