Show Future Farmers Visit Hotarians Clarence H. Anderson. Agricultural Agricultur-al instructor at the Cedar City Hiah School, and three prominent members mem-bers of the local Chapter of the Future Farmers of America, provided pro-vided the program at the meeting of the Rotary Club Tuesday, and pleased the Rotarlans very much with their showing of worth while things 'accomplished In the field of agriculture. The three P. P. A. boys, Wlllard Armstrong, Ivan Matheson and Blair Kenney, addressed the group. Armstrong gave his P. P. A. contest con-test speech, 'The American Parmer Fights On," Matheson told of the activities of the P. P. A. Chapter of which he is president, and Kenney discussed the post war reconstruction reconstruc-tion period, and what It means to the American Parmer. Mr. Anderson gave a summary of the agriculture and P. P. A. work being carried on at the school. The program was In charge of the Youth Service Committee of the club, with Alex H. Rollo as chairman. Three guests were present, Randall Ran-dall Jones of Salt Lake City, who spoke briefly; Merlin Vance of the Mt. States Telephone Company and Floyd Noel of the U. S. Forest Service. |
