Show Alice Williams Injured When Struck By Car Miss Alice Williams narrowly escaped es-caped serious Injury. Friday night when she was struck by a car driven by Clay Murphy, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Murphy of Parowan. Miss Williams was rushed to the hopltal where lt was found that she had suffered a severe scalp laceration and multiple cuts and bruises. However, she has recovered sufficiently to be around again. The accident occured as Miss Williams was crossing Main street at about 8:30 p.m. and young Murphy Mur-phy was driving up Main street. He reported to police officers that he was blinded by an approaching automobile and that h failed to see the pedestrian until to late to avoid hitting her. The young driver wai given a ticket for driving without a license, but Investlaatlng officers reported that the driver was apparently ap-parently not fullty of negligence, |
