Show State Legislators Visit Branch Agricultural College Members of a joint legislative ommittee on state instutlons visited visit-ed the Branch Agricultural College Friday, spending most of their time studiiu the con rehensive range sheep and range management program pro-gram underway at the college, and studing the financial neeeds of thi institution during the coining bien num. The legislators were guests of the colleiti and the state exlplment faculty members and local civic leaders, after which they were taken on atour of tht new college farm west of town, which Is being used largely to complement the range i sheep setup started last year by the 'college and the state exptrlmtnt I station. The farm will be developed develop-ed by seeding bush and abandoned icrcs for use as spring and fall range for the 10,000 head of range ewes which are studied in the project. Four types or rare grasses imported import-ed from Russia have been sowed on small areas of the farm, ana the legislators were told that the project should prove of great assistance as-sistance to the sheep industry of i the state.
