Show War Bond Pledge Campaign To End Saturday Lehl M. Jones, chairman of the Iron County War Bonds and Stamps sales organization, reports that the pledge campaign opened last Monday, will close Saturday night, and that present Indications are that the campaign will have been very successful. A total of 398 Cedar City people signed pledges on the first day of the drive, and Parley E. Anderson, Cedar City chairman, reports that a number of pledges have been turned in since that time. Other towns of the county have not yet reported officially, but Indication are that many people have pledged themselves to make regular purchases. pur-chases. Mr. Jones requests all town chairmen chair-men to file their reports with him as soon as possible, in order that he may file his report with the state chairman at the earliest possible date. Chairmen are asked to leave their pledge books at the Bank of Southern Utah, or with Mr. Jones or Morgan Rollo. |
