Show Presbyterians Mark 20th Year In Cedar The 20th anniversary of the organization or-ganization of the Presbyterian Church in C dar City will be ob-s ob-s rved on Sunday, May 19, at tlx 11 o'clock Worship Service. Plasant, Utah, participated parti-cipated In the service, and Rev. E P. Gieser, who was then pastor c thi church, presided. William R Palmer, President of the Parowar LDS Stake, gave his greetings. Mr, and Mrs. Charles Lundgr r are the only two charter members of the church who still reside ir C'dar City. Since Rev. Mr. Gelser, the church has had 10 ministers. Of these, the late Rev. W. M. For-sythe For-sythe la best rrmembered In Cedar City because he served for over 10 years. Rev. William S. Baker Is the present minister. These words, spoken by Presld n Palmer at the dedication still express ex-press somthlng of the spirit in which the Presbyterians in Cedar City carry on: "Though our creeds may differ wlly. y t there Is much common ground for us to work for the uplifting and better, ing of humanity." |
