Show Redmen Place Sixth In State Track Meet The Redmen of the Cedar Citj nigh school finished their tthl t-c competition of the year last week oy placing sixth in the state high .chool track and fl Id meet at the University of Utah stadium. The local athletes scored 14 points in jlxih place In the meet, and th second b st performance among .he "B" schools. Thj Cedar team won first In the medley relay with Alex Milne and Darwin Woodbury running the two 30-yard laps, Dick Rice the 440 and Clair W-bster the 880. Milne pbced second in the broad ,'ump, while Dick Rice came in fifth a the 440 yard dash, after having lead until the last few feet. AU five place winners were bunched in 1 sensational finish, with only a foot or two separating thj first and fifth place winners. Beaver with 20 points was the only B school to make a bett r showing than the Redmen. |
