Show County Fair Livestock Premiums Announced Premiums Xor tin livestock de. p: rtment of the Iron County Fair to be h Id at Parowan on September Septem-ber S, 6 and 7th., have been announced an-nounced as follows: Dairy Division. $180 tcntallvely listed for pr mlums for Holstein Jersey and Guernsey breeds. First, second and third prizes of $5. 13 and $2, respectively, In the following follow-ing classes: Aged cow, heifer, one-year one-year to calving, heifer under on ;.ar, aged bull, bull calf, best exhibit ex-hibit at least thr e animals, and animal giving most milk on 24 hour basis. Breeding Beef: $150. First, second and third prizes of $5, $3 and $2, respectv ly in the following classes: Junior bull, senior bull, aged cow. yearling h lfer. heifer calf, best exhibit of at least three animals, baby be.f. Breeding Sheep: $300. First, second se-cond and thrid prizes of $2, $1.50 and $1, respectiv ly, in the following follow-ing classes: Aged ram, yearling ram, ram lamb, ram and 3 of hi? ram lambs, aged ewe, yearling ewe we lamb, and ewe and lamb. Prizes of $5, $3 and $2 will bi given for pen of thr e ram lambs, pen o' :hree ewe lambs, and pen of three 'at lambs. Pries of $2, $1.50 and $1 will b? given for fat lambs in each of the following classes: rambouil let, other white face breeds, and black face bre ds. The best exhibit of at least three sheep will recelv a first prize of $5, second of $3 and 3rd of $2. Prizes of $5 will b given for flock exhibit, champion fat lamb entered by a boy or gir who docs not compete In Junior o' vnior division. Four breeds o sheep are to be considered in th show: Ramboulllet, Hampshire Suffolk and crossbrcds. The premium list for swine ant draft horses will be announced later. |
