Show Cedar City Boy Serves As Yoeman ' On Admiral's Yacht Acccrding to word received thl; week by Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hig-bee Hig-bee of Cedar City, their son. Weston, Wes-ton, who has been serving with the U. S. Navy for the past year, Is now serving as yoeman aboard the yacht belonging to the Admiral of the .Atlantic Fleet. Young Higbee enlisted In the Navy a little over a year ago and was immediately sent to the Bryant and Stratton Business College In Boston, Massachusetts, from which Institution he graduated with a very high rating. Following his graduation grad-uation he was transferred to Washington, Wash-ington, D. C. where he served as clerk In the Bureau of Ships for several months. For the past month he has been serving as a yoeman on one of the destroyers. Two other sons of Mr. and Mrs. Higbee, Keith and Lloyd, are serving serv-ing with the U. S. Army in the North African war theatre, Keith as a mechanic while Lloyd is acting act-ing as a clerk In the Ordnance Department. De-partment. Although both boys have been stationed In Africa about five hunched miles apart for the past several months, they have as ye, had no opportunity to meet. |
