The additional payment for the August birds will be approximately one and one-half centa per pound. The Utah Poultry Producers Cooperative Co-operative Association states that all turkeys handled this year will be In co-operative pools on a monthly basis, with the pools closing the last day of each month. Patronage refunds will be mailed shortly after af-ter the first of each month for turkeys marketed during the previous pre-vious month. All turkeys are being sold to the Federal Oovernment at present, but the Association asserts that even after the embargo Is lifted the cooperative co-operative pools will be maintained throughout the marketing season. a |
