Show Pneumonia Claims Seven-Months-Old Jackie Ray Banks Jackie Ray Banks, the 7-montns-old daughter of Wayne and Glenna Barker Banks, died Friday of bronchial bron-chial pneumonia following a four day illness. The baby was born In Cedar City on July 3. 1940. She Is survived bj her parents, one brother, Douglas; and the following grandparents: Mrs. Hyrum Porter of Escalante, and Mr. and Mrs. J. Alma Banks of Lyndyl, Utah. Funeral services were held In the First Ward Chapel Sunday afternoon after-noon with Bp. Oeorge W. Grlm-shaw, Grlm-shaw, presiding. The opening and closing songs were by a quartet composed of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wood, Ray Cosslett and Miss Alice Williams. Other musical numbers Included vocal solos, "Lay My Head Beneath A Rose", by Chauncey Macfarlane, and "My Sweet Little Rose Bud", by Bert Carpenter. The speakers were J. Alma Banks, Bp. Grlmshaw and Gibson Cowan. Invocation was by B. J. Petty, benediction bene-diction by Rex Christensen and the grave was dedicated by J. Alma Banks. |
