Show Utah Legislators Will Visit Cedar City This Week End Utah Legislators will visit Cedar City and St. George Saturday and Sunday on the bi-annual Junket trip to the Branch Agricultural College Col-lege and the Dixie Junior College. The schools and Chambers of Commerce Com-merce of the two cities will cooperate cooper-ate to entertain the visitors. The legislators will arrive In Cedar Ce-dar CJty Saturday morning at 6 o'clock. After having breakfast here, they will be met by representatives from St. George, who will take them first to Hurricane and then to St. George. Cedar people will go to St. George Sunday morning to bring the visitors back to Cedar City in time for a luncheon at the Brancn college at noon. A public meeting will be held it the college at 2 p. m., which is perhaps the most important part of the entire trip in so far as Cedar City is concerned. It is important that as many townspeople as possible pos-sible attend this meeting. This gathering and the time spent at school afterward will afford citizens their best opportunity to contact legislators and discuss any problems they may wish to bring before the law makers. The Chamber of Commerce will entertain the visitors at a banquet at the Escalante hotel at 6 p. m., to which the public Is also Invited. Following the banquet the visitors will be the guests of the college at a presentation of the "Messiah." |
