Sad Accident to Former Purowan Boy. Last Saturday about 2 p. m. at Mil-ford Mil-ford whilo Claud Lcmmon, who is cm-ployed cm-ployed by the Salt Lake Route as brakeman, was waiting to go out with a freight train on duty, ho was " struck by tho Los Angeles limited and sustained a severe fracture of the skull besides minor injuries. He was picked up unconscious and immediately immediate-ly taken to tho Holy Cros3 hospital at Salt Lake. His family was notified at once and his mother started as quickly as possible to tho city to be with him. From last accounts he has not yet regained consciousness, although al-though his condition is slightly improved. im-proved. The skull fracture being at the base of tho brain, the doctors arc compelled to let nature take its course in effecting a cure, as an operation wpud be too dangerous. Just how the necident occurred is not known as Claud wqs alone at the time. It is supposed that ho was watching the freight train which he was to board and tho noise made by tho train in switching prevented him from hearing hear-ing the approaching passenger train J x " in the path of which he must have been standing. A crowded house at tho regular school circus entertainments is one of the sure things of the year, and last Monday evening was no exception to the rule.
