The people of that state bought more than two and two-thirds seals for each inhabitant. Utah last year bought a little less than one seal per person. This year Utah is a peiiiuilll contender. We are a ptXM porous state, our people are bro.-e! minded, generous and public-spiriteil. I he cause is one that appeals strongly strong-ly to every well informed, patriotic citizen. War increases tuberculosis. We have learned from the experience of Europe and Canada that we must conquer tuberculosis or it will concjuer us. The Red Cross Seals help finance this war. The Red Cross Seal drive is, therefore, a cause in which every man, woman and child in our state is vitally interested. To stimulate interest in this campaign cam-paign the National Tuberculosis Society So-ciety each year awards pennants to the states and citizens selling the largest number of seals per capita. The states are divided into three classes, class-es, according to population Class A includes the states with a population of less than one and n quarter mil- lion. Last year Wyoming sold the largest number of seals in proportion to its population, 2.68 seals per eap-.ta, eap-.ta, : .id won the pennant for that class.
