Mrs. Frank Palmer, wife of Dr. Frnnk Palmer of Los Angeles, Calif., was in Cedar a few days last week. Miss Lconn Billings, who was tho guest of Mr. and Mm. Wm. Mace Inst week, returned to her homo in Salt Lako Monday. Elder Arthur1 Perry, who haB been laboring as a L. D. S. missionary In tho Montana Mission field, has been honornbly released and is now homo. Mr. nnd Mrs. Wm. Mace spent Wednesday and Thursday of this vcek in St. George, where Mr. Mace was called in connection with his Forestry work. Tho small son of Bud Leigh met with quite a serious accident on Monday of this week, when he waa playing with glnnt caps and ono of them exploded, blowing off tho ends of three fingers on his loft hand. On Tuesday of this week Bud Leigh was kicked on the side of tho head by a horse, badly cutting and bruising his car. Ho was taken to the local hospital for treatment and is around again, outwardly showing no ill effects from the accident. Last Friday afternoon the Bee Hivo girls and tho keepers of the Sego Lily swarm met at 'the home-of Madge McConncll to receive their Bee Hivo seals, which are given out' onco a month. Each girl received a generous amount of senls as a reward for her work during tho past month. Miss Lconn Billings of Salt Lake City, was the guest of honor nt a Kensington given last Saturdny afternoon after-noon by Mrs. Wm. Mnce. Fall flowers, flow-ers, including nstors and nasturtiums decorated the rooms. A delicious ' two course luncheon was served by tho hostess. The guests, in addition to guest of honor, were Mrs. Sella M Leviston of San Francisco. Mrs. Lahi Jones, Mrs. Ann Gardner, Mrs. R. L, Jones, Mrs. J. W.
