Show PLAYGROUND NOTES. This week closes tho supervised play days at the college campus. The committee feels that very successful nnd profitable times have been spent nnd it wishes to thank tho supervis ors for their untiring efforts in helping help-ing to make tho supervised play a I success. Tho supervisors have spent two afternoons each week this summer sum-mer in entertaining tho children nnd directing them in their piny. There has been no paid supervision this summer. Tho services have been given giv-en freely and willingly. The committeo wishes to thank the B. A. C. for allowing tho children tho privilege of using the spacious lawns under tho delightful shade, which aided so much in making the summer's sum-mer's work successful. Wo also wish I to thank the mothers who sent tho' children so regularly and all who helped in any way to mako tho playground play-ground work successful and pleasure-able. pleasure-able. Last Thursday about ninety-one children wcro present at tho playground. play-ground. Contest games Were carried on among the older children in base ball, whilo tho younger children played play-ed croquet, appropriate games and listened lo interesting stories. Just! beforo closing time tho supervisors gave tho children a melon feast which was enjoyed by all present Mrs. Maud Corry and Mrs. Lizzie Adams wcro visitors at tho playground play-ground Thurslny. Tho children will bo delighted to know that tho big piece of apparatus appara-tus they havo heard so much about has arrived and will be set up soon' for their uso during the winter ns well as summer. j Last Thursday R.
