Early one morning ho was awakened by shouts and soon learned that n nearby house was on fire. Garbed In a dressing gown he made his way to the burning house and found a crowd of spectators awaiting tho fire department. Fears were expressed ex-pressed for the safety of occupants In tho house, and as no ono volunteered to enter, the Legionnaire broke open a window and went In. He returned dragging Aaron Prultt, whom ho found overcame on n bed. "Any soldier would have done tho same thing," declared tho hero. |
