Show I ONLY TWO DAYS FOR REGISTMN. Jk I V3N CL'isacs at B. A. C. to Be I Organized Next Wednes- day. By unanimous voto of tho Faculty I of the Branch Agricultural College, in n special meeting held last Wcd- ncBdny afternoon, it was decided I that only two days will be allowed I this year for registration and that I classes will be organized Wednesday ' : morning, September 21, at which timo 'regular instruction will begin. v j Tho faculty also voted that any stu- I dent registering after the second day will bo considered late and will bo penalized to tho extent of being .admitted on condition which, in this case, means that unless the student makes up for the timo lost through late registration his credit for each courso will bo reduced in proportion to Ino amount of time lost. This action was taken with a viow I to avoiding tho delay and confusion that have marked tho first few weeks of school in former years. Tho Fac ulty is of the opinion that a great k deal of tho usual delay is unnecessary and that students can as well bo registered reg-istered by tho end of the second day , aa by tho end of tho second week. By J completing registration early and or- , , ganizing classes promptly, it is said that all courses can be covered much t more thoroughly than is possible " where tho instructor is compelled f re-1 t qucritly to review tho ground covered , ( i for tho benefit of those students who ff come in late. Tho recent action of ' t ; tho Faculty, it appears, places the rc- , t sponsibility directly upon tho stu- dents themselves; if they must reg- f ister late, then they must work that i' much harder to catch up with the u classes, and unions thoy do catch up 1 their credit will be reduced.
