Show Roosevelt's loud claims of fraud in the election elec-tion of Taf t delegates do not appear to be securing him much of an advantage in the national committee commit-tee So far, of the decided contests, Roosevelt has been awarded one delegate and Taf t one hundred and ono. Even Senator Borah, Roosevelt's staunch-nest staunch-nest supporter has voted for the Taf t delegates, giving as his reason that it was plain to him that tho Taft men had won fairly and that as a matter of honor he could not do otherwise than vote to seat them. To the disinterested person, it begins to look as if Roosevelt were talking altogether too much about fraud. It's boon his hobby and a great many people had just about come to the conclusion that he is the only man free from a taint of it. As a result, tho actions of the national nation-al committee will doubtless injure his chances more than the number of votes involved. |
