In a covered roaster with a tightly fitting lid molt some dripping, drip-ping, lay the stunk In this and brown on one side. Take out and fry lightly an onion In tho fnt in tho pan, return 9 the steak to the pan, season with popper pop-per and salt and pour ovor it 1 cupa ' or boiling wnter. Fasten tho cover on tightly nnd cook very slowly for 2 hours. Serve wholo on a heated platter plat-ter with tho gravy In which It was cooked thickened and poured over it.
