Show PARK CITY. What Goes on in Catholic Circles in the Great Camp. (Special Correspondence.) On the evening of the 6th inst. Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Powers entertained in honor of their brother, Mr. Patrick Powers, who was the guest of honor on that occasion. At 9 o'clock twenty-five twenty-five guests from their own social circle cir-cle sat down to an elegant banquet. Mr. and Mrs. Powers proved themselves them-selves to be up-to-date entertainers. No wonder their friends look forward with pleasure to the anticipation of spending an evening with them at their home now and then. Mr. Murty McPolin was a passenger to Salt Lake Monday afternoon. Mr. J. C. Kelly, one of the most progressive pro-gressive and highly respected Catholic young men of our town, has recently made some valuable purchases in "real estate.:' Although the Park is a lively live-ly camp, J. C. bought from outside parties. He says he has interests enough here in the mines, and a chance at something else is a novelty for him. Mr. D. C, Harrnigton, brother of our prominent mining ma.h,'M. C Harrington, Harring-ton, went down to Sat Lake Saturday afternoon to meet his wife and family, who were on their way from New Mexico Mex-ico to Park City, where' they all arrived ar-rived in camp Monday .morning. William QualeyTnd, Harry Merniri spent last week in Salt Lake. The boys of St. Mary's senior department de-partment who deserve honorable mention men-tion for the first week of November are John Martin, Redmond McDon-bugh, McDon-bugh, Thomas Maloipf, . Amusing games of all kinds were indulged in, elegant refreshments were served and everybody every-body had a bushelffun. Senator and Mrs. - Thomas Kearns spent a day here with relatives last week.
