The sad news of the death of the Very Rev. Thomas Bouquillon. S. T. D., late professor of moral theology at the Catholic university, reached here this week. Dr. Bouquillon's health has been failing for the past year or more, and during the summer he returned to his native land for the purpose of con- suiting physicians, and obtaining the rest which he thought might restore him to health. He submitted to a severe se-vere operation at the hospital in Brussels, Brus-sels, but it seems that his strength was not sufficient to rally from it, and his death occurred on Wednesday, Nov. 5. |
