Show Sacred Heart Academy. The members of the Sacred Heart Alumnae resident in our city have determined de-termined that the winter of 190S shall not be an idle one, and accordingly have planned a regrular literary society in connection with the Alumnae. Under Un-der the direction of the very capable president. Miss Daisy Maginnis,-results of a very satisfactory nature are anticipated. an-ticipated. To the outgoing president. Miss Irene Tomasek. are due thanks and congratulations for" the energetic, earnest and successful manner in which she fulfilled her duties a fact that was clearly demonstrated last June when the reception, under her management, was pronounced one of the most brilliant bril-liant social affairs Ogden has ever known. We feel confident that the present pres-ent administration will prove itself equal to the task set before it, and that the Sacred Heart Literary society will be surpassed by none of its kind in the city. Beautiful autumn days are appreciated appreci-ated by the pupils, and they seem eager to drink In all the golden sunshine and store it up against the winter-tide, so last Sunday afternoon the usual sttiK- hour was dispensed with and all enjoyed en-joyed a long walk, returning home tired but benefited. , The members of the senior and junior classes have caught the athletic fever, and are wildly enthusiastic on the sub- ' ject of basketball. A Tridium will be the preparation for the Feast of All Saints at St. Joseph's Jo-seph's church. The morning mass for the three days will be said at 9 o'clock, and there will be special devotions on Thursday and Friday evenings, while Saturday will be given over to the hearing of confessions, so that all may join the saints in heaven on that glorious feast.
