Show HEINSTATTING THE EVICTED TENANTS. A number of the evicted tenants cn the Cool-greany Cool-greany estate, Arklow, have been already reinstated rein-stated in their holdings. A further important step' was taken yesterday towards restoring others of them, whose holdings are in the occupation of planters, to farms of land which hare been acquired for. their reinstatement by the estates commissioners. commission-ers. Some time ago the commissioners acquired a large holding at Barndown, near Gorev, and this was split up into allotments of between 40 and DO acres, whilst in one instance SO acres, together with the dwelling-house, was set aside for one of the tenants. Possession of those allotments was given to seven of the evicted tenants yesterday, and ,the rent which they will pay is on an average about 10s. an acre. About 200 is being given to each tenant for improvements, most of it being a free grant, with the exception of the tenant who got the holding on which the dwelling is situated. There are still about fifteen tenants who are unprovided for, whose holdings are occupied by planters, but the estates commissioners are in negotiation for farms elsewhere for those, and the purchase of a large farm near Tallaght. County Dublin, is nearly completed.
