Show DEATH OF A RELIGIEUSE. The sisters of the -Presentation convent,' Cahir-civeen Cahir-civeen have sustained a grievous loss in the death of Mother Mary Stanislaus Royston, a venerable and much-loved member of their community, which look plaeC at 11 o'clock on Monday evening, 9th of May. The deceased,' who was in the. 73d war of W age, had been in failing health for a longtime. She had the consolation and happiness of being to partake par-take of the blessed sacrament every morning up to her last. During the forty-three years she spent as a professed nun nothing could exceed her saintly and edifying life or the love and veneration she inspired in-spired by her kindly and affectionate disposition, not only in the hearts of her pious community, but of all who had the privilege of her acquaintance. Requiem high mass with the office of the dead was sung in the chapel of the Presentation convent, the celebrant being the Very Rev. Canon O'Riordan. I P., V. F.: deacon. Rev. William Keane,.P.p. Valentin; Valen-tin; sub-deacon. Rev. James O'Callaghan, C.C., Ca-hirciveen Ca-hirciveen .and master of ceremonies, Kev. Michael McCarthy, C.C., do. After the ceremonies the remains re-mains of the saintly Mother Stanislaus were -interred in the beautiful cemetery situated in the convent con-vent grounds.' |
