Show PARK CITY. Hibernian Society in Flourishing Condition Social and Personal. Writing to the National Hibernian, Mr. A. J. Higgins says this of the division di-vision in Park City: Our division continues in a flourishing flourish-ing condition, and new names are be ing constantly presented tor admission admis-sion to membership. An important subject under discussion discus-sion among our members just now is insurance. The deaths of two of the orothers within two months has led many of us to wonder if some plan of protection other than, and in connection connec-tion with, our sick and death benefits could not be adopted by the state jurisdiction, jur-isdiction, or even by our own division. A great many of our members, and many others elisible for membership, are insured in the A. O. U. W., some are in the C. M. H. A., while a few for the same purpose contemplate joining join-ing the Knights of Columbus, recently organized in Salt Lake City. Besides these the various insurance companies have many of our names on their lists, but there is yet a large part of the membership who have as yet made but little provision in the matter of insurance. Will some reader familiar with A. O. H. insurance kindly enlighten us on the subject? |
