Show Church News. The Rosary devotions have been well attended by large numbers. Everything Every-thing has been favorable for a large attendance, the weather almost perfect, per-fect, with June skies and summer evening breezes. At High Alass at the cathedral Sunday. Sun-day. Aliss Jane Jeff eris sang the "Ave Alaria" (Bach-Gounod) with violin obligate ob-ligate by Aliss Finkelstein. Aliss Jef-feri Jef-feri possesses a sweet voice and rendered ren-dered the solo in a clear and charming ing manner. Miss Jefferis is a pupil of Aladame Yincent, but her early musical training was received under the Sisters. Sis-ters. ' - The Catholic ladies of Boulder will hold a fair this week for the benefit of the church. Every evening during the fair a fine programme will be given. The junior choir is faithfully practicing prac-ticing the Christmas music and many beautiful-new hymns have recently been rendered at the different services and evening devotions. Rev. AT.. P. Curran of Red Lodge paid a visit to Helena last week, and returned home by way of Butte. 4? Rev. Father Dav baptized the twin sons of Air. and Airs. Frank Osner Sunday afternoon at the cathedral. They received the names Basil Leon and Frank Cecil Lerov. The Catholic census has been taken the past week in the Seventh ward, and Father Day expects to continue the work until a complete directory of all the Catholics in the parish is properly prop-erly compiled. So far the clergy are meeting with every assistance, enabling enab-ling them to do thorough work. |
