Show LIMERICK POISONING. A melancholy ease of accidental poisoning, which terminated fatally on Wednesday, the 13th inst., occurred at Ballingarry, County Limerick. It. appears that on Thursday -morning Mr. Edward Kearney, ex-royal Irish constabulary sergeant, sotno time after getting out of bed drank some poison by mistake, which had been supplied him for external purposes, instead of medicine that had beeen given him for some ailment. No soooner had the unfor tunate accident occurred than the poor man hastened has-tened to the residence of Dr. Henry G. Moloney, M. D., of Delville house, a mile distant, to whom he related the sad mistake into which he had fallen. The doctor, with all possible speed, conveyed the poor sufferer on his trap to iis residence, where he was the recipient of the most strenuous and unceasing un-ceasing efforts on the part of the doctor and the members of the family towards recovery, but they proved unavailing.
