The Alumni society of St. Patrick's school are arranging to giv a reception recep-tion dance to the graduates of that institution in-stitution June" -4. Those in charge of the arrangements include Miss Eva Holt. Miss Deborah Gibbons and Mr. McMahon. A delightful time promised the coming graduates who are fourteen in number. f Miss Margaret Flaherty, of Lourdes. Iowa, is visiting Mrs. Peter Brten, at 826 West Park street. G. O'Connor, Hauswirth, Hallo-way, Hallo-way, Anderson, Wcller, Turner. Griffiths Grif-fiths and Miss O'Brien. Mrs. O'Brien carried off first prize, a silver berry spoon: Mrs. Hauswirth won second, half a dozen fruit knives: Mrs. Anderson, Ander-son, third, a pretty collar. The club will hold its next meeting at the home of Mrs. Holloway, on Jackson street. Misses Marie and Alice Maguire will go to Salt Lake for the summer. WEDDING BELLS. . Doctor G. M. Russell of Manhattan, Mont., and Mrs. Mattie Madden of Des Moines. Iowa, were united in marriage at the residence of the pastor of Saint Patrick's parish. Wednesday evening, June 1. The attendants were Miss1 Beth Maguire. sister of the bride, and Mr. Irvin Dandy, a friend of the groom. Their future home will beat Manhattan. t The news of the marriage of Miss Mollie Geagan and Mr. Henry J. Clark, which took place at the Sacred Heart church on Friday evening, June 3, -904, comes as a delightful surprise to their many friends. They will be at home to their friends after June 15 at 223 1-2 East Granite street. f One of the prettiepi weddings of the season occurred in Walkersville on Wednesday, June 1. at Saint Lawrence's Law-rence's church, when Miss Agnes Murphy and Mr. Timothy Connell were united in arrhriage. Reverend Father Batens officiating. The bride wai3 prettily gowned in white Persian lace, and was attended by her sister, Miss May Murphy, who wore a beautiful gown of cream nun's veiling, trimmed in lace. The groom was attended bv his brother, Mr. Matthew Mat-thew Connell. Miss Nellie Bath presided pre-sided at. the organ, and played Mendelssohn's Men-delssohn's wedding march as the bridal party moved dow n the aisele. After the ceremony, the bridal party returned to the home of the bride's mot' er, where a sumptuous wedding supper was served, the table being artistically decorated in pink and white carnations and ferns. The young- couple have many friends, both in Walkerville and Butte, who join in wishing them much happiness and joy. The couple received many useful and handsome gifts, including bric-a-brac, china and cut glass. They left on the 7:40 train for Seattle, and will visit many points of interest along the coast. They will be at home to their friends after July 1. ANACONDA, MONT. Anaconda. Mont..' June 2. Mrs. Clara Brainard Moran. of 518 Alder street, died Thursday morning, June 2. She had been ill for some time. A widower, Richard Moran, a daughter Margaret, and mother. Mrs. W. Brainard, and i sifter, Mrs. Joseph Marcille. survive her. She was born in Silver City. .New,' thirty-five years ago. She Avas a resident resi-dent of Anaconda for nineteen years, and enjoyed the respect of hundreds j in this city. 1 Mrs. Moran was deeply devoted to her family, and those who are left to mourn her loss have the sympathy of everyone. The funeral took place Sunday morn: ing from the family residence. Services Ser-vices were held at Saint Peter's church and interment was in Mount Carmel cemetery. Mr. Moran is employed at the Washoe Wa-shoe smelter, and is very well and favorably fa-vorably known. 1 f .Mrs. Jerry Mullins and Mrs. Dennis?
