Show FRANKLIN NEWS NOTES $. Mr and Mrs. Ether Biggs returned return-ed to Salt Lake where they have purchased a new deiense home after visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert D. Lowe, Sunday. Sun-day. Mrs. Leo Boden underwent an minor operation at a Logan hospital, hospi-tal, Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Kieth Hawkes and family returned home Saturday fronii New Berry, California, where he has been employed the past two months. Mrs. Joe Johnson and Mrs. Jack Olsen spent the past week in Idaho Ida-ho Falls visiting at the home of their sister. Kay and Alma Hampton spent the week-end' in Ogden visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Van Orden. Mr. and Mrs. Dallin Woodward are rejoicing over the arrrvat of a '. baby girl born Tuesday, April 14. Mrs. Ivan Geary broke her ankle last Wednesday when she slipped while entering her car Mr. and Mrs. Jack Robinson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Robinson Rob-inson and Mr. and Mrs. Aeriel Biggs of Ogden spent the weekend week-end here with relatives. The Pioneer City Lions club held their regular meeting in the school banquet room Wednesday evening. Fifteen members were present. Bert Winward of Whitney was the speaker. Mrs. J. H. Neeley and daughter, Wayma, spent the week-end at Milford, Utah, visiting with relatives. rela-tives. Mrs, Iris Hillyard of Whitney Whit-ney accompanied them. Homer D. Williams, Willard Porter Por-ter and Calvin Parkinson attended the Idaho Educational association convention at Boise last week-end. Mrs. Darvel Fuhriman entertained entertain-ed the 500 club at her home Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon. The afternoon was spent playing 500 with Mrs. Floyd Robinson receiving high score and Mrs. Russell Bradford, all-cut. A delicious lunch was served to the eight members present. pres-ent. Mrs. Beatrice Dolan entertained the Bridge club at her home Tues-i day evening. Lunch was served to I seven members and Mrs. Floyd Robinson received high score. Delmar Jamison received a gash on his head Monday afternoou when plaster from the ceiling of the gym fell while the high school band was rehearsing. |
